Apollo Care Southport is part of the growing Apollo Care network, which has been shaping home care services since 2011. Founded by District Nurse Cheryl White, who aimed to improve the quality of home care, the brand quickly earned a reputation for excellence. Today, Apollo Care operates 15 branches across England and Wales, continuing its commitment to outstanding, compassionate care.
Apollo Care Southport was founded by Debbie Dickson, whose journey in the care sector began 11 years ago following the loss of her brother to brain cancer. Experiencing firsthand the challenges of not knowing where to turn for support and advice inspired Debbie to dedicate her career to helping others. Debbie discovered a passion for supporting people to stay safe and independent in their own homes, whether that’s assisting with daily tasks, enjoying outings in the local community or simply sharing a conversation over a cup of tea. Debbie’s vision for Apollo Care Southport is to provide compassionate, personalised care that truly values and uplifts every individual in the community.

Debbie Dickson - Owner and Director
I began working in the care sector after losing my brother to brain cancer, an experience that highlighted how difficult it can be to know where to turn for support and guidance. This inspired me to become a carer, and I quickly discovered how rewarding it is to help people stay safe and comfortable in their own homes. I particularly enjoy spending time with clients, whether at home or out in the community, sharing a laugh, getting to know them and building meaningful connections.
